Basset Software is Jim Thomason, a programmer who's been around for a while, mainly operating as Just Another Perl Hacker. He was a Mac guy since back in the early '90s (back before it was cool) and has been pleased as punch to work on his platform of choice pretty much without interruption for his whole life. He doesn't do Windows. He can't fix your printer. He does have a good knack for figuring out what people need and solving it for them. Lately he really likes working on Debtinator, since it really can save people a lot of money. His specialities are Perl and Objective-C (Cocoa), with a healthy knowledge of javascript, HTML, and CSS; plus a smattering of C and a handful of other languages to a lesser extent. He also finally recently got off of his butt and started working on a more professional site. The logo's pretty keen, at least.
General office management is handled by Stan (on left) who specializes in trying to make the carpeting into a suitable bed.
Security and Squirrel management is provided by Sally (on lap).
Clearly, Jim likes basset hounds a lot.
